Impacto do nível de atividade física e velocidade de marcha na mobilidade funcional de indivíduos com hemiparesia espástica pós AVC

Objetivo: Correlacionar o nível de atividade física com a velocidade de marcha e ponderar a existência de uma correlação entre o tempo de permanência sentado com o aumento do risco de quedas em indivíduos com hemiparesia espástica. Método: Foi realizado um estudo descritivo e transversal com 25 participantes em um centro de reabilitação em Santos-SP. Os dados foram coletados através de testes padronizados TC10m, Timed Up and Go (TUG) e Questionário Internacional de Atividade Física (IPAQ). Resultados: Os resultados mostraram que 52% dos participantes eram do gênero feminino, com idade média de 54,3 anos. Observou-se uma forte correlação positiva (rho = 0,705) entre o tempo sentado (mediana de 8 horas) e o desempenho no TUG (mediana de 23,4 segundos), sugerindo que um maior tempo sedentário está associado a um aumento no risco de quedas. Além disso, uma correlação moderada negativa (rho = -0,616) foi encontrada entre o IPAQ (mediana de 3 pontos) e a velocidade de marcha (mediana de 0,4 m/s). Conclusão: Os achados destacam a importância de intervenções que promovam a atividade física, fundamental para a recuperação funcional, independência e qualidade de vida dos indivíduos pouco ativos e sedentários que elucidaram prejuízos significativos na velocidade de marcha e risco de quedas.
